This is the information page for the Feral PK AU, a Hollow Knight AU created by bluegekk0.

The AU began in 2023 as a what-if scenario where the Pale King survived, but has since then evolved into a very loose interpretation of the Hollow Knight and Silksong canon, and a personal worldbuilding project.

My interpretations of the characters are quite different from their canon counterparts or the most popular fandom interpretations, and the worldbuilding especially is something which I took in a original direction. So please approach with an open mind!

Short Summary

The Feral PK AU is an alternate universe/timeline which focuses on my interpretation of the character of the Pale King. It is primarily a slice of life AU taking place roughly 10 years after the Embrace The Void ending and the end of the infection. It includes some characters from Silksong, but its story is largely not canon, aside from certain elements, particularly in regards to the characters and worldbuilding.

Vyrm, as that's the name of the Pale King in the AU, survived the infection by going into hibernation, started after his breakdown following his failure to protect the kingdom. 35 years later, he was woken up by The Knight, and after losing his powers he survived on the animals he hunted with his teeth and claws (thus the name of the AU). The infection ended soon after, bringing back peace to Hallownest.

He eventually reunited with Hornet, Holly (formerly The Hollow Knight) and Grimm, who was his closest friend while Vyrm was the king. The two were in love but did not get a chance to confess until their reunion, and are now married with children: Lewk, Asta and Milo. Zote, the self-proclaimed knight of great renown, is Holly's best friend and is considered part of the family. Hornet, meanwhile, started a relationship with Aika and Lace, who has left Pharloom alongside her sibling, Phantom.

The whole family resides in Dirtmouth, which saw many renovations thanks to the group effort of its inhabitants and Vyrm's construction plans. Vyrm no longer considers himself the king and is now living a quiet life, trying to cope with his traumatic childhood, the memories of his unhappy marriage to The White Lady and the guilt of his actions during his rule.
